The oil signifies the internal work of healing, resilience, discipline, and growth; the lamp signifies the visible outcome—clarity, direction, dignity, and hope. At Woman of Worth, Incorporated, a leading Mississippi nonprofit, this symbol reflects our mission to equip women with the tools, support for women, and foundation necessary for sustainable success through our transformational programs. To our funders, the oil lamp represents more than inspiration—it represents a strategic investment in women’s stability, self-sufficiency, and their ability to become restored, prepared, and empowered for life, especially through our reentry services.

Woman of Worth, Incorporated is a Mississippi nonprofit established with a clear and urgent purpose: to fill the critical gap in support for women transitioning back into society. This organization was founded in response to the growing need for structured, compassionate, and sustainable reentry services for women exiting incarceration, as well as those facing homelessness, instability, and life disruption.
The vision behind this nonprofit was shaped by firsthand experience and professional insight, recognizing that too many women are released without the foundational resources necessary for success. Without stable housing, life skills, employment readiness, and emotional support, many are left vulnerable to cycles of recidivism and hardship. Woman of Worth was created to change that trajectory through transformational programs.
The organization was launched to provide more than temporary assistance; it was designed to build preparedness for life. Through a holistic model that includes housing, workforce development, mentorship, and personal restoration, Woman of Worth equips women with the tools needed to rebuild, sustain, and thrive.
At its core, the “why” is simple but powerful: Every woman deserves the opportunity for women's empowerment to rebuild her life with dignity, stability, and support—and to walk forward prepared, because she is already worthy.

Woman of Worth Incorporated provides a continuum of community support for women through a range of services designed to help women stabilize, grow, and thrive. These life transition services address the whole woman by focusing on personal development, daily living skills, emotional support, economic opportunity, and long-term independence. The organization's offerings include residential support, life skills training, workforce readiness, mentoring, supportive services, and women reintegration support, as well as entrepreneurship education.

Woman of Worth Incorporated seeks to create lasting change by providing community support for women, helping them regain stability, strengthen their confidence, and build meaningful futures. The organization’s desired impact includes reduced barriers to successful reentry, stronger support for women veterans, increased life skills and workforce readiness, expanded access to entrepreneurship education, and greater long-term self-sufficiency for women and their families. Through its life transition services and programs, Woman of Worth Incorporated aims to empower women to recognize their worth, pursue new opportunities, and become stronger contributors within their homes, workplaces, and communities, ultimately enhancing women reintegration support.

The organization was born from the belief that every woman, regardless of her past or present circumstances, is worthy of dignity, support, opportunity, and hope.
