Woman of Worth, Incorporated is a Mississippi nonprofit established with a clear and urgent purpose: to fill the critical gap in support for women transitioning back into society. This organization was founded in response to the growing need for structured, compassionate, and sustainable reentry services for women exiting incarceration, as well as those facing homelessness, instability, and life disruption.
The vision behind this nonprofit was shaped by firsthand experience and professional insight, recognizing that too many women are released without the foundational resources necessary for success. Without stable housing, life skills, employment readiness, and emotional support, many are left vulnerable to cycles of recidivism and hardship. Woman of Worth was created to change that trajectory through transformational programs.
The organization was launched to provide more than temporary assistance; it was designed to build preparedness for life. Through a holistic model that includes housing, workforce development, mentorship, and personal restoration, Woman of Worth equips women with the tools needed to rebuild, sustain, and thrive.
At its core, the “why” is simple but powerful: Every woman deserves the opportunity for women's empowerment to rebuild her life with dignity, stability, and support—and to walk forward prepared, because she is already worthy.
