Woman of Worth, Incorporated was founded by Latrise Adkins, a visionary leader with a heart for service, restoration, and empowerment. With a background in business, consulting, community engagement, and helping others navigate systems and barriers, Latrise has spent years recognizing a deep need among women who are often overlooked during some of the most difficult seasons of life.
She created Woman of Worth, Incorporated out of a sincere burden to help women rebuild, recover, and rediscover their value. The organization was born from the belief that every woman, regardless of her past or present circumstances, is worthy of dignity, support, opportunity, and hope. Through her life experiences, community work, and passion for seeing women whole, Latrise recognized the urgent need for a safe, structured, and empowering place where women can receive not only practical support, but also encouragement, preparation, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Woman of Worth, Incorporated exists to serve women in transition, including women exiting incarceration, women veterans reentering civilian life, and women facing homelessness or instability. Latrise’s vision is centered on helping women move beyond survival and into stability, growth, and purpose. She founded the organization to provide holistic support through housing assistance, life skills, workforce readiness, entrepreneurship exposure, and compassionate guidance that helps women prepare for a stronger future.
At the heart of this vision is the belief that women should not be defined by their setbacks. They should be equipped to rise. Through Woman of Worth, Incorporated, Latrise is committed to restoring value, building confidence, and reminding every woman served that She is worthy, period.
